The Artist Platform delivers your releases to Boomplay and Audiomack, two streaming services with large audiences across Africa. Once your release is live, you claim your artist profile directly with each store, so you can update your photo, see your stats and keep every release on one profile.
What this means
Good news: getting your music onto these stores is our part of the job. Boomplay and Audiomack are on the list of stores we deliver to. Getting your music there and running your profile are two separate jobs:
Delivery is our part. We send your release to each store you selected.
Claiming your profile is between you and the store. Each store checks you're the artist and approves the claim itself, so we can't approve it for you.

When this applies
Your listeners are in Africa, for example in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania or South Africa, or you want to reach them.
You've released music and want one verified profile on each store.
You've found your release on Boomplay or Audiomack under the wrong artist, or split across two profiles.
What you need before you start
A release that's been approved and delivered with Boomplay and Audiomack included.
The exact artist name you used when you uploaded. Use the same spelling on every release, so stores keep them all on one profile. Metadata tips
Access to your official social media accounts. Audiomack's claim starts with a message from your official artist Instagram account.
Your release UPC. Where to find your UPC
Step-by-step
Select both stores when you distribute. Tick Boomplay and Audiomack when you choose stores for your release.
Wait until your release is live. You can only claim a profile once your music is on the store. Each store works at its own pace. See How long until my release is live? for the timings.
Claim your Boomplay profile. Open Boomplay for Artists, choose Apply Now and follow Boomplay's steps. Boomplay checks your details and verifies your profile itself.
Claim your Audiomack profile. Follow @audiomackartist on Instagram. Then message them from your official artist account. Include the link to your Audiomack profile, your distributor's name, your UPC or ISRC, and the email you'd like to use. That email can't already be linked to an Audiomack account. Audiomack then emails you a code to finish the claim. Only the artist can send this request, not a manager or label. Audiomack's steps
Finish your profiles. Once your claims are approved, update your artist images and add both store links to your FanHub or smart link, so fans can find you there.
What happens next
Each store reviews your claim itself. Each store works at its own pace, so we can't speed that part up or decide the result. What we can do is check your releases reached them correctly.
New releases under the same artist name usually appear on your claimed profile once they're live.
Your earnings from Boomplay and Audiomack are reported and paid with the rest of your royalties. See How money works on The Artist Platform.
Troubleshooting
Problem | What to do |
My release isn't on Boomplay or Audiomack | Check that the store was selected for that release. If it was and your release date has passed, follow Music missing in stores, or contact us with the UPC and the store name. |
My release is on the wrong artist profile | Contact us with the UPC, the ISRC of the affected track and a link to your correct profile on that store. On Audiomack, once your main profile is claimed, you can also ask Audiomack to merge the two profiles. Audiomack's merge form · My release is on the wrong artist profile |
Someone else has already claimed my profile | Contact the store directly to dispute the claim, because only the store can change who controls a profile. Let us know too, with the profile link, so we can check your releases are mapped correctly. |
I also uploaded the same songs to Audiomack myself | The same song can end up on Audiomack twice. Contact us with the UPC and a link to your own upload before you change anything. |
My claim was rejected | Only the store decides on claims, so we can't change the result. What you can do: check that your artist name and social links match the name on your releases, then contact the store's support. |
