Music you have the rights to release. Covers, samples and AI-made music each have their own rules. Content Policy · Covers · Samples · Music made with AI
Moving music from another distributor? Read What to do before you switch distributors first, so you don't lose your streams.
3. Create and submit your release

After you submit, our review takes 1–2 business days. Then we deliver your release to the stores you chose. How long until my release is live?
4. Set up your artist profiles
While you wait for release day, claim your profiles and pitch your music:
Spotify: claim Spotify for Artists and pitch your song to the editors. Spotify guide for artists
Apple Music: claim Apple Music for Artists once you're live. Apple Music guide for artists
YouTube: see where your music appears and how to avoid claims on your own videos. YouTube guide for artists
5. Get paid

Royalties take a few months to reach you, because stores report on their own schedules. How money works on The Artist Platform explains the timeline. If you share earnings with collaborators, set up track splits.
6. Grow your audience
