Submit eligible tracks through our Discovery Mode Request Form by the 20th of the month to be considered for the next monthly campaign. Discovery Mode makes a track more likely to be recommended to new listeners, but promotion is not guaranteed and results vary.
What this means
Want more new listeners to hear a song you're proud of? Discovery Mode is a way to tell the streaming platform's recommendation system that you'd like a track to reach more people. Once a track is opted in, it gets higher priority in algorithmic recommendations, which makes it more likely to appear in Autoplay, Radio and personalized mixes for listeners with similar taste.
It works through how listeners respond, not paid placement. When listeners save the track, add it to playlists or follow you, the platform usually keeps recommending it. When they don't, recommendations tend to drop off.
Selection for a campaign depends on several factors, including:
How the song performed over the past 28 days
Artist metrics such as followers, monthly listeners and playlist adds
When this applies
Your track can be submitted if it:
Was distributed through The Artist Platform
Has been live for at least 30 days
Has at least 1,000 total streams worldwide
Not eligible: spoken word, audiobooks, podcasts, videos and karaoke.
There's no limit to how many eligible tracks you can submit.

Double-check both before you send. The submission system skips anything with a wrong URI or wrong release details, so a quick check makes sure your track is considered.

Check your track meets the eligibility rules above.
Copy the track URI and your artist URI.
Open the Discovery Mode Request Form and fill it in.
Submit by the 20th of the month to be considered for the next monthly campaign.
Use the form for every submission. We can't accept tracks sent by email or through support, and the form is how your track gets into the campaign.
What happens next
No upfront cost. A commission of 30% applies to streams generated through Discovery Mode placements, such as Autoplay, Radio and personalized mixes.
No direct notification. The streaming platform doesn't confirm which songs were selected. If your track is included, you'll usually see a rise in streams, playlist adds and monthly listeners.
It keeps running. If accepted, your track stays in promotion until you choose to opt out.
Promotion is not guaranteed. Opting in raises the chance of recommendation, but the platform decides what to recommend.
