The Artist Platform isn't available in some countries and regions. This is because of international sanctions, rules from our payment partners, and other legal requirements. We know this is frustrating, and we update the list when the rules change.
Where we can't offer The Artist Platform
You can't sign up, buy a plan, receive payouts or use Backstage if you live in, or are a resident of:
Afghanistan
Burundi
Central African Republic
China
Cuba
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Eritrea
Guinea
Haiti
Iran
Iraq
Lebanon
Libya
Mali
Myanmar
North Korea
Pakistan
Russia
Somalia
South Sudan
Sudan
Syria
Venezuela
Yemen
This also applies to these regions: Crimea and Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk and the Gaza Strip.
Why this happens
We have to follow sanctions set by the European Union, the United Nations, the United Kingdom and the United States, and the rules of the payment providers we use to pay you. These rules decide where we can work and who we can pay. They aren't a judgement about you or your music.
What this means for you
If you live in one of these places, you can't create an account or use The Artist Platform for now.
If you move to one of these places, let us know, so we can tell you what happens to your account.
If you're travelling, your access may be limited while you're there.
Please don't try to get around these restrictions, for example with a VPN or someone else's details. We have to close accounts that do, and it can put your royalties at risk.
